
Narothum Saxena is an accomplished technology executive with deep expertise in mobile communications, network architecture, and telecom product development. He is currently VP of Emerging Technologies at Global Telecom Engineering and serves on the Advisory Board of Hyperblox, Inc., helping organizations shape next-generation connectivity strategies.
Narothum previously served as Vice President of Technology Strategy & Architecture at UScellular, where he led the company’s long-term technology roadmap across wireless networks and IT infrastructure, guiding its evolution from 3G through 4G, 5G, and next-generation services, while contributing to over 50 patents.
Earlier in his career, Narothum co-founded Cambia Networks and held leadership roles at 3Com/US Robotics, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Omnitel, and AMI Sanag. He previously served on the board of directors for the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS), and as an alternate board member for the NGMN Alliance and O-RAN Alliance.
Narothum holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago, a Bachelor’s degree from Osmania University, and completed an Executive Management Program at the University of Chicago.
